Carpe Diem/Children’s Services and Hampton Roads Child care held their second Fall Festival on September 18, 2009. The event was held at our office and surrounding area at 3500 Tejo Lane, Chesapeake, VA 23321. It was a beautiful fall day and everyone who attended enjoyed plenty of food, homemade desserts, games, amusements and face painting.

Our agency and other generous donors made it possible to provide backpacks and school supplies for children in our Foster Care and In Home Services Programs as a part of our Carpe Diem Kids Gear Program. We provided approximately 100 children with backpacks and school supplies.

 We appreciate everyone who donated supplies and participated in this event.
